1860 Saloon, located at 1860 S. 9th Street, has for over 30 years offered patrons good drinks, great “pub grub”, and the best in live St. Louis blues music. Would you be surprised to know that 1860s is actually three different restaurants in one?
With the vintage back bar, wood floors and saloon atmosphere, The 1860 Saloon is the place to relax and enjoy blues greats, including Jimmy Lee & Co. and the Soulard Blues Band. Come and enjoy the live music all seven nights a week plus Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Between the drinks, eats and entertainment, both locals and outsiders alike make the Hard Shell Cafe one of Soulard's most beloved places to party. The Hardshell is a cozy enclosed patio with a roof so you have a place to go on rainy days. The menu is stocked with enough sandwiches, entrees and salads to satisfy any appetite, but the homemade Cajun dishes are especially noteworthy -- including red beans and rice, jambalaya and gumbo. The middle section is now a casual-fine dining restaurant specializing in steaks and seafood. Sundays always feature a wonderful brunch you don't want to miss out on! |
