Soulard Progressive Dinner

This Soulard tradition offers patrons the opportunity to create their own six course menu. Ticket booklets contain 6 coupons for 1 course each. Choose an appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, dessert and beverage from 24 participating establishments. Stroll between establishments or ride the trolleys and build your meal at your own pace.

An annual tradition in Soulard, the Progressive Dinner was originally named the Soulard Saloon Safari. It began in the 1980’s as a precursor to the annual Mardi Gras celebration. It since has become a gathering of friends, neighbors and businesses to celebrate the unique historic and culinary heritage of the neighborhood. Of the 26 restaurants and establishments participating, many award winning, all have been pleasing palettes for over 15 years, with several for 30 years or more.
